Employer accused client of theft and called police. Client interviewed with police and was charged with 1 count of misdemeanor A theft. Employer terminated client’s employment. Client hired Sam Goble to deal with potential wrongful termination claim, repercussions on client’s ability to get new employment, and to handle the criminal theft charge. Mr. Goble successfully negotiated a non-termination of employment separation from employer, including some severance and deletion of theft allegation from employment file. Mr. Goble also negotiated a reduced charge of wrongful appropriation with the opportunity for dismissal. Case was recently dismissed.
